Preparation for College
We want our teens to succeed. We want to feel relieved, assured and confident about our teen’s future. We envision a life for them where they are pursuing an education for a career they will truly enjoy.
But how do you do this? How can teens pick the right college and avoid very costly mistakes if you don’t start them on the right path? Some mistakes have caused parents to be over $100,000 in debt.
Laurie Genevish of My Ideal College will share how to successfully navigate your teen through the college search process and how to avoid potentially costly pitfalls.
In this presentation you will learn:
- Two important facts to know before helping your teen
- How to gain understanding and agreement on your teen’s future
- How to identify the criteria to use in picking a college
- Tools you can use in researching college options
